Adam Bell, CPA MBA
When I was a kid I used to play with Legos all day long. I could spend hours creating. There was something about having a big bin of disconnected pieces and putting them together to create something new and exciting.
Now as a CPA I look at organizations and issues the same way. I don't see organizations as departments but as interconnecting webs of individuals. I thrive in the complexity of different industries and problems. I am as comfortable talking to a maintenance manager about deferred maintenance as I am talking to a state senator about funding needs and understand both are important. I see how the pieces fit together. I understand the second and third order effects. But deep down it is the love the puzzle that drives me. I thrive in the complex and have time and again, over my career, gone far above expectations to achieve things no one thought was possible.
